 Clippers vs. Warriors Best Bets

Two teams that are expected to contend for the NBA championship, the Clippers and the Warriors, have both started the season slowly. The first of four meetings between the Pacific Division rivals this year between Los Angeles (8-9) and Golden State (8-10) takes place on Thursday night. The teams are currently ranked 10th and 11th in the Western Conference, respectively.

In the 2022–23 season series, home-court advantage proved to be the deciding factor as the home club won every game. The Warriors had a 33–8 record at the Chase Center the previous season, making them one of the greatest teams in the league at home. However, this year, they have only managed a 3–6 start.

Although they began the season 0–6, the Clippers have won their last three away from Los Angeles, including a 131–117 victory over the Kings on Wednesday. Despite this, they have the same record on the road. Golden State lost 124-123 against Sacramento in their most recent game on Tuesday.

Chris Paul (leg) and Gary Payton II (calf) will be out for the Warriors, and Norman Powell (leg) will be a game-time decision for the Clippers.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers Spread Betting: Warriors -4.5 (-118) | Clippers +4.5 (-105)

Moneyline: GSW (-213) | LAC (+165)

227.5 in total, with Over (-110) and Under (-110)

Los Angeles' Big 3 players gave it their all to hold off De'Aaron Fox's 40-point performance. With 34 points, Kawhi Leonard led the way, followed by James Harden with 26 (his most in a Clippers uniform), and Paul George with 19. After alternating victories and defeats over the past week, L.A. is only one victory away from hitting.500 for the first time in nearly a month.

This season, the Clippers have gone 1-1 in back-to-backs, and, most importantly, Leonard and George have participated in both. Golden State and Los Angeles will play again on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena.

This season, Leonard is only averaging 21.8 points per game, which would be his lowest total since his last year in San Antonio. But for the first time this season, he is coming off back-to-back 30-point performances, and Golden State has a defense that has had trouble slowing down rival offenses. There's a fair chance the Clippers can maintain their momentum and return to.500 because the Warriors aren't as dominant at home as they once were.
